2008 Ruth First Fellowship announced

South African journalists have the opportunity to apply for the 2008 Ruth First Fellowship. The deadline to apply is February 29.

The fellowship will explore the theme, "The economics and politics of energy in South Africa." The program aims to give journalists/writers/researchers/photographers the space to pursue an in-depth project of original research to be published in any medium.

Selected fellows will receive monthly stipends and reimbursement for research expenditures.
